A fusion of international tradition and local expertise

ESCO Ltd Food Company – Smederevo was established in January 2017 as a foreign‑owned company, built on the tradition set by the renowned Greek families Prisnalis and Marinos. All technology, equipment, and expertise in snail processing as the core business, as well as in other animal and plant-based products, originate from the parent company, which has been engaged in this field for more than 55 years across Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, North Macedonia, and Serbia, with exports of processed goods to EU countries.

Experienced workforce, modern equipment, reliable market placement

In the Republic of Serbia, the company continues a tradition spanning nearly 30 years, at the site of the former ‘Voćar’ company, now modernized with new equipment but staffed by experienced workers who have been engaged in these activities for more than two decades. Their knowledge and expertise, supported by a secured network of suppliers across the country, as well as reliable market placement and capital, provide a solid foundation for expanding operations, increasing capacity, and employing new workers.
